Primarily utilized in the wheel manufacturing industry, disc trimming is the process of removing excess material from a pre-formed product.

   The attached video shows product being trimmed mechanically. The trimming procedure is shown in excellent detail. Two shear dies squeeze the rotating product until the “skirt” of the part is removed. This procedure has applications in many different industries.
